Ah, so we finally managed to load linux on food..
We got a dead badger, a toaster, and lettuce now.
Now we need to work on how to install it on toast………
This reminds me of the Firefox bus. It’s a normal passenger bus, with no connection to Firefox, but it has the Firefox logo painted all over the sides. I don’t remember exactly where it was, but I think it was in India somewhere. You can probably google it easily if you’re not to lazy
their method of growing is based on a collaboration of thousands of years and millions of people working together. (Started out as a joke, but it’s really true if you think about it.)
where was this lettuce bought? Company/brand name?
Looks like a banana republic to me, probably used the logo without permission too.
The company is called El corral de los niños (The children’s farmyard) and it has been seen in Badajoz.
So… is that what open source really means?
I got some from your mom
Sweet! I love it.
It is open source lettuce by Canonical. It even comes with the package of source code (seeds)
Trademark infringement?
It’s like Homer finding his face on Mr. Sparkle. “Wh-Why am I on a Spanish lettuce?”
It says “Romana” on the package, fyi.
No one uses linux…
It looks like Luis Cocio is from Mexico so this lettuce must be from Mexico as well. Besides, the writing is in Spanish.
is it from Africa?
who came first? who copied who ya think?
green shit.zomg.
And I thought the next release was going to be leafy lettuce
So…it’s free?
No it’s open source, as in you can open the package mess with its contents and redistribute it.
i hope the design wasn’t made on a windows computer that would just kill it…. now if i could just find the xubuntu ranch dressing
can i still download that from canonical xD
hope we will get more open source food sooner or latter. The good thing it will be all free for u 2 take and distribute 2
looking forward to tossing the salad
To Anonymous: Most of the worlds websites run on Linux. I use Linux. Everyone uses Linux.
i think you’ll have a problem explaining that to the teller.
‘but honestly miss, see this, its opensource lettece and by definition that makes it free’
Good question mrinject. Check if its GLPed!
Probably the only way ‘Linux’ will become a household name…

Yup, we have Ubuntu on girls too.
@ #36
The Ubuntu logo is copyright, and I imagine they got some permission for it.

Once mi mom bought tortillas, and the company was BATMAN TORTILLAS >.>

By the way, the lettuce is from Badajoz–part of SPAIN, where they speak SPANISH–(not Mexico)
